  About Jim

Jim started piano lessons at 4 years old (Miss McCarthy) she was a silent movie pianist.

  He started playing drums in 6^th  grade band.

  Playing everything and everywhere, Jim has always been destined for the top.

Jim was influenced by no other than Carl "Doc" Severinson from the Tonight Show when Doc told Jim to take lessons and stick with the drums. Well Jim did more than that, he learned to play several instruments. In fact, not only did Jim produce his last CD, Questions, he played all the instruments as well.

Jim got his start in the Minneapolis music scene playing at clubs like First Avenues 7th. Street entry as well as Duffy's and Boyd's on the river. He quickly moved up to the semi national gigs playing for several different artists and venues.
